Dame Shirley Bassey honoured for hospital charity work
Welsh legendary singer Dame Shirley Bassey has been honoured by the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales for her charity work. The hospital has renamed the road into the hospital as 'Dame Shirley Bassey Way' in recognition of her role as patron there.

Dame Shirley Bassey honoured for work at children's hospital
Dame Shirley Bassey has arrived at the Children's Hospital for Wales to be honoured for her work as patron.
The hospital says its main thoroughfare is to be renamed as 'Dame Shirley Bassey Way' in recognition of the legendary singer's commitment to the hospital.
The singer has been touring the new £64m second phase hospital and meeting children and staff.
The Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity was set up in May 2000 to raise the money needed to build, equip and support the first dedicated children's hospital for Wales which welcomed its first patient in February 2005.

Dame Shirley Bassey will visit the Children's Hospital for Wales in Cardiff later.
She will honoured for her work as a patron of the hospital.
The main thoroughfare outside the building will be renamed 'Dame Shirley Bassey Way.'
She is also expected to meet staff and patients.
