Heavy rain and wind causes delays on public transport
There's disruption on trains because of flooding and on ferries because of bad weather. Four flood warnings and six flood alerts are currently in place across the country.

Bad weather means busy night for firefighters
Roads: A458, Powys
The A458 is closed because of flooding between Cyfronydd and Glascoed. It's affecting traffic between Dolgellau and Welshpool.

Ferries: Holyhead - Dublin
There are delays on Stena Line services between Holyhead and Dublin because of adverse weather conditions.
Trains: Arriva Trains Wales
Services are suspended on Arriva Trains Wales between Shrewsbury and Pwllheli, and between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth because of flooding between Caersws and Machynlleth.
Roads: Severn Bridge
One lane is closed because of strong winds on the M48 Severn Bridge between J1 A403 / B4461 (Aust) and J2 A466 (Chepstow). there's a 40 mph speed limit.
Flood warnings in force after heavy rain and wind
Four flood warnings have been issued by the Environment Agency due to heavy rain overnight.
The warnings are in place for:
- River Severn at Pool Quay and Trewern
- River Wye at Builth Wells
- River Severn at Abermule and Fron
- River Severn at Aberbechan including the Sewage Works at Dolfor
There are also six flood alerts
Meanwhile there's a yellow 'be aware' warning from the Met Office of snow and ice for parts of North Wales:
- Conwy
- Denbighshire
- Flintshire
- Gwynedd
- Wrexham
The Met Office says there's the potential for hazardous driving conditions.
