Bluebirds expected to confirm Solskjaer departure
Cardiff City is expected to confirm the departure of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this morning.
Solskjaer spent Wednesday in London in talks with chairman Mehmet Dalman with owner Vincent Tan joining them on the telephone from Malaysia.
The Norwegian's eight-and-a-half-month reign at Cardiff was brought into sharp focus on Tuesday night with a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough, the club's second home defeat in the space of four days.
According to Press Association Sport, Solskjaer's departure from the club is 'amicable' and a statement will be released by Cardiff City later this morning.

Its believed Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan will lead the search for the man to replace Solskjaer.
In January Cardiff Chairman Mehmet Dalman was tasked with finding a successor to Malky Mackay and spent weeks trying to persuade Solskjaer, then manager at Norwegian Side Molde FK, to take over at the City Stadium.
When Ole was revealed to the media Dalman made it clear that Cardiff only had one man in mind for the job.
