It was Cleverly's first fight since he lost his WBO light-heavyweight title to Sergey Kovalev last August.

The 27-year-old from Cefn Fforest spent nine months out of the ring, assessing his future and then switching weight divisions, trainer and promoter.

It took him only six minutes to dispatch Corbin at the Motorpoint Arena, landing an uppercut before peppering his opponent with shots, that meant the referee stepped in to end the fight.
