The man in charge of Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board says he won't resign despite calls for him to do so.

Paul Roberts faced patients and relatives at a public meeting to hear their concerns over care at Welsh hospitals.

The meeting provoked fresh calls for a public inquiry and was also a chance for more people to come forward with their experiences of poor quality care.

Patients and relatives who are unhappy with the standards of care at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend have called for the Chief Executive of Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Health Board, Paul Roberts, to resign.

They're also calling for a full public inquiry.

Around 100 people attended the meeting this evening.

On Monday ITV News reported on claims of serious neglect at the hospital which followed the news that Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board is to investigate after a man died following a wait of four hours in an ambulance outside the hospital.

A public meeting is to be held later amid calls for an enquiry into a series of failings at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.

Peter Walsh from Action Against Medical Accidents is holding the meeting, after attention has been brought to a number of incidents at the hospital.
