Swansea City have been drawn alongside Spanish side Valencia, Russian team FC kuban Krasnoder and Switzerland's St Gallen in the next round of the Europa League.

Petrolul Ploiesti 2-1 Swansea (3-6) (FT)

Petrolul took the lead in the second half with a goal from Abel Camara in the 73rd minute, before Roland Lamah equalised for the Swans just a minute later. Hamza Younes gave Petrolul their second goal.

A second yellow card saw Leon Britton sent off, leaving the Swans with 10 men at the final whistle. Final score Petrolul Ploiesti 2-1 Swansea. The Swans got through to the next round 6-3 on aggregate.

Swansea City take on Romanian side Petrolul Poleisti in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier tonight.

The Welsh side won convincingly in the first leg, scoring five goals to the visiting side's one.

A win for the Swans will see them progress to the group stage, for which the draw takes place on Friday in Monaco.

Swansea City welcome Romanian side FC Petrolul Ploiesti to the Liberty Stadium tonight in the first leg of the Europa league play offs. Kick off is at 7.05pm.

Ploiesti were third in their league last season and won the Romanian Cup. Their manager Cosmin Contra, played under Swans boss Michael Laudrup at Getafe.
