North-South train changes
The Welsh Government have announced changes to the North-South Wales express train service. From September it will run once a day instead of twice, but will stop at additional stations in Wrexham and Flint. The Government say it will improve the service and save half a million pounds a year.
The modified service is expected to leave Holyhead at 05:32, arriving in Cardiff Central at 09:58 and will then return at 18.18 arriving in Holyhead at 22.35.
The decision has been criticised, with Plaid Cymru calling the reduction to one service a day a "betrayal of North Wales".
