Major search launched as North Wales Police issue urgent appeal for man who went missing in Eryri
There are "growing concerns" for a 26-year-old who is went missing in north Wales.
Police have launched a major search and rescue operation for a missing man, who has been identified only as Daniel, and last seen in the Eryri (Snowdonia) area on Sunday, 6 August.
North Wales Police believe Daniel went walking somewhere in the area of Tryfan, Tregarth, or Llanberis after parking his silver Ford Fiesta – with the registration number of YP62 LBU – in the area.
Daniel is described as being 5ft 7in tall and is of a slim build with brown eyes and dark brown hair.
He also has a beard and a moustache. He is believed to be wearing a dark blue puffer jacket and was last spoken to at around 11am on Sunday.
In a statement North Wales Police said: ""A search and rescue operation has been launched in the Snowdonia area following growing concerns for the 26-year-old who is currently missing.
"It is believed he went walking somewhere in the area of Tryfan, Tregarth or Llanberis yesterday (Sunday, August 6) after parking his car in the area.
"Daniel is described as being around 5ft 7in in height, of a slim build with brown eyes, dark brown bushy hair with a beard, and a moustache. He is believed to be wearing a dark blue puffer jacket and was last spoken to at around 11am yesterday.
"Anyone who has seen Daniel in the area of Tryfan/Tregarth/ Llanberis or the wider Snowdonia areas, or anyone who has seen a silver Ford Fiesta parked nearby with registration YP62 LBU, is urged to contact us as a matter of urgency.
