Storm Arwen dumps caravan upside down in man's garden
A man was shocked to find a caravan overturned in his garden after winds from Storm Arwen blew it from his neighbour's property 15 doors away.Kyle Johns from Cwmbran was met with an unexpected surprise in the early hours as strong winds blew a caravan into his garden.Storm Arwen caused chaos across Wales with winds of up to 80mph battering the country.
Properties lost power, dozens of roads were closed, and falling trees damaged properties.Fortunately, Kyle said that the overturned caravan had not caused any damage to his property, and there was no damage to the caravan itself.Kyle said that the neighbours were quite "embarrassed" about the incident but all was resolved in the end.He added: "It was stressful seeing this morning. Crazy weather we are having - all sorted now as was local luckily. I Definitely didn’t expect this""It was only the street over but at least 15 houses in between us so it must have gone with a whoosh."Kyle said he found out about his new garden feature when he was woken up to a thud around midnight, assuming it was the bin blowing, before being alerted by his brother. After posting on social media, the owners were soon found."The husband said he wanted rid of it anyways but didn’t quite expect it to vanish in the night," said Kyle.
