ITV confirm return of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! after Storm Arwen stopped production
ITV officials have announced that I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! will return on Tuesday 30 November after storm damage forced production to pause.
On Friday, the show was cancelled for the first time in 19 years and the celebrity campmates were removed from the castle over the weekend.
Strong winds brought by Storm Arwen damaged the marquees on site at Gwrych Castle, as well as causing technical issues.
In an official statement, ITV confirmed that Ant and Dec would be back presenting live at the castle near Abergele from Tuesday.
It read: "I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! will return from tomorrow night (Tuesday 30 November) on ITV and ITV Hub with a brand new show.
"Production worked round the clock to get the site back up and running after Storm Arwen caused substantial damage over the weekend."
They added that there will be a live public vote, for a new trial, during Tuesday's episode. The result of that vote will be revealed to campmates at the end of tomorrow's programme.
Storm Arwen meant homes across Wales lost power over the weekend, with many still experiencing outages on Monday morning. Buildings were also damaged and trains cancelled due to the extreme weather.
