Man denies murder of 19-year-old Kyle Walley in Wrexham

Family said Kyle Walley had the "biggest smile."

A 19-year-old man has denied murdering a teenager in Wrexham last July.

Mark Jones, from Chester Road, Wrexham, appeared on a video link from a remand centre before Mold crown court.

He is accused of killing Kyle Walley, 19, at Rhosymedre on July 11.

Jones was represented by barrister Duncan Bould and prosecution counsel was John Philpotts.

Judge Rhys Rowlands said the trial would start at Mold on January 31. Jones was remanded in custody.

Mark Jones has denied murder.

In a tribute to Kyle, his family said they are "absolutely devastated."

“You will be greatly missed by so many , you had the biggest smile and sense of humour; all the love in the world from Mum , Dad, Lee, Johnathan, Caitlin, Nanna, Aunty and everyone who knew you.”
