North Wales Police: 11 year-old boy left with serious injuries after Flint car crash

An 11 year-old boy has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Flint.

North Wales Police confirmed the boy was taken to hospital after the crash on the A5119Northop Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3.50pm on Wednesday after the boy was hit by a red Vauxhall Corsa. North Wales Police is urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision to come forward. A police spokesman said: "I'm appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have been travelling along the A5119 around the time of the collision, and who may have dashcam footage to contact us."
