Tributes paid as woman, 27, who died in Shotton named locally as Jade Ward
A 27-year-old mother from Flintshire who died on Thursday has been named locally as Jade Ward.
She was found dead at a property on Chevrons Road, Shotton, just before 9:20am on August 26.
A 29-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and an investigation is underway.
Floral tributes, balloons, photographs, written messages, candles and teddies have been left on the pavement yards from the property where the incident happened.
Police crime scene investigators were seen at the taped-off house, which had a blue and white tent in the front garden.
A GoFundMe page which has already raised more than £1,000 has been set up for Jade's children.On the page, Taylor Wesley wrote: "Our beautiful Jade was sadly taken from us on the 26th august 2021 in such a cruel and sad way!"Our lives will never be the same without you baby girl a piece of us all went with you Jade."
Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Salisbury-Jones said: “We would like to reassure the public that there is no ongoing threat to the wider community.“Specially trained officers are supporting the family of the deceased.
