Former public toilet block for sale in small Welsh valleys town

If you've ever wanted to take the plunge on a property renovation, here's your chance.

A rundown council-owned toilet block is up for sale in Blaina, Blaenau Gwent.

The property, on Cwmcelyn Road, is a detached brick building with a slate roof and total site area of 424 square metres.

The sale includes one parking space and a grassed grassed area to the rear.

With broken and boarded up windows, the council say there is considerable damage to the building. The property has materials containing asbestos present that may have been disturbed by the damage.

Prospective buyers are not allowed to do internal viewings ahead of the sale but the property can be viewed externally from the carpark.

Planning permission would also be required for any material change of use.

The freehold is being sold for the toilet and linked grounds.
