No new coronavirus deaths reported in Wales for third time this week
For this third time over the last week, there were no reported deaths from coronavirus in Wales.
The reported death toll in wales remains at 1,541.
According to figures from Public Health Wales, there were however 16 new cases reported., meaning 17,020 people have now tested positive for Covid-19.
Over the last seven days there have been 59 Covid-19 cases confirmed by Public Health Wales.
It comes as lockdown restrictions continue to ease in Wales.
From Saturday, self-contained holiday accommodations were permitted to open. This includes cottages and caravans.
What can open from Monday?
From Monday, Pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants with outdoor space can reopen.
Venues allowed to open will be expected to enforce social distancing rules, including providing table service and the option to pre-book to minimise the health risk.
The Welsh Government said the success rate of this move will guide its decision to reopen indoor services.
Hairdressers can also reopen by appointment only on Monday.
The Welsh Government confirmed hairdressers would be allowed to reopen their doors for the first time in more than three months. Hair salons in England were able to reopen their doors from 4 July.
