Tiger King's Carole Baskin promotes music festival in Wrexham
A music festival in Wrexham has shared an online video of Carole Baskin, from Big Cat Rescue, promoting the event.
Carole Baskin rose to fame after appearing in the popular Netflix documentary series Tiger King.
In a video shared on Facebook, Carole reveals that the headline acts for Rock the Park music festival will be released soon.
The independent festival was postponed this year because of Covid-19 and is now due to take place in August 2021.
Carole began the video with her well-known introduction: "Hey, all you cool cats and kittens, it's Carole Baskin at Big Cat Rescue."
Netflix said 64 million households watched Tiger King in the month after its release on 20th March 2020.
Carole Baskin gained many fans following the series and she has now set up a profile on an app, which gives fans paid-for messages at £140 for every 30 seconds. But Rock the Park organisers said they "didn't have to pay a penny" for the video, instead they gave Carole two tickets to the festival.
Managing Director Sam Foulkes said: "We wanted to create a buzz around our announcement and get a lot of interest. I thought having Carole Baskin involved would be out of this world. We just wanted to do something different and out of the norm because that's what our festival is."
Carole also recently appeared in an online video promoting a car sales garage in Plymouth.
