Wales given new fixture dates after postponement of EURO 2020
UEFA has announced the new fixture list for the European Championships after it was delayed until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Wales qualified for the tournament after an Aaron Ramsey double helped them beat Hungary in November of last year.
The fixtures show that Wales will begin their tournament against Switzerland in Baku on June 12, 2021.
Ryan Giggs' men will then go on to play Turkey on June 16, 2021 in the same city.
The group stage will conclude with a tough trip to Rome to play Italy on June 20, 2021.
Speaking to ITV Wales' Sports Reporter Beth Fisher earlier during the lockdown, Giggs had said he was optimistic of his sides chances in the tournament but that he felt his side were ready to play this year.
UEFA announced earlier this year that EURO 2020 would be postponed until the summer of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, with all football across the continent stopped for a period.
However most European leagues are now gearing up to resume, with the Premier League kicking off this week, with Aston Villa and Sheffield United today.
Wales' old rivals England will open their own campaign against Croatia on June 13, 2021 at Wembley.
They will then go on to play their second match on June 18, 2021 before their final game against the Czech Republic on June 22, 2021 at Wembley again.
