A further ten people have died in Wales after testing positive for coronavirus, taking the total number of deaths in the country to 1,317.

Public Health Wales figures show 102 new cases have been diagnosed with the total number of cases now standing at 13,827.

The true number is likely to be higher.

It comes as First Minister Mark Drakeford announced that two households will be able to meet outdoors from Monday.

Under these new rules, social distancing must be maintained and people must not travel more than five miles.

The easing of lockdown restrictions will coincide with the launch of contact tracing in Wales.

Contact tracing means testing people for coronavirus, tracking the spread of the virus, then tracing the people an infected person has come into contact with.

People who have come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus will then be asked to self-isolate.
