Driver gets car stuck in mud while breaking lockdown rules

A driver who broke lockdown rules to go for a spin ended up getting their car stuck in deep mud.

Police were called and the occupants of the vehicle were reported for breaching Covid-19 regulations.

Officers from North Wales Police's Wrexham Rural team tweeted aboutthe incident saying the drivers "decision making is as good as their driving."

The Rural Crime Team also sent a father and son home after they had travelled from Manchester to Flintshire twice in two weeks

The pair were given their second fine for carrying out unnecessarywork at a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
