An R&B and soul singer from Cardiff has shared a video of her performing Fantasia's 'Lose To Win' from her house during lockdown.

Faith Nelson, who was a contestant on The Voice in 2016, said the song has helped her "push past difficult times".

She said: "In this season even I have experienced losses and I just have to remember everything will get better, we lose to win again."

Faith said that despite the negative impact of Covid-19, it has brought her family closer together.

Faith said: "My life has slowed right down during lockdown, where I wasn’t getting enough family time, I am now.

"It has drawn my whole family closer especially those aboard or in different cities."

Faith said that lockdown has been challenging for her, as she is also studying for a degree in criminology and sociology. Like other students, she has had to adjust to studying from home.

When the lockdown ends, she is looking forward to continuing her music and university work.

Another thing that Faith has been missing during the lockdown is one of her favourite places to eat.

"I will be heading to Bristol Backyard Chicken for some avocado fries and beetroot nuggets like a flash of lightning."

But for now, she will be posting music - from the safety of her home - online.
