George and Becky North announce birth of first child

Welsh rugby player, George North, and Olympian wife, Becky North, have announced the birth of their son.

Both introduced the new addition to the world by posting pictures of him on social media on Tuesday. The couple named their baby Jac and he is their first child together.

The couple got married in summer 2019 and announced they were expecting a baby on their honeymoon.

On Instagram, Becky North said: "Welcome to the world little one...My heart is so full" alongside a picture of the baby reaching his arms art.

The two-time Olympic silver medallist and former world champion, retired from cycling in August 2017. Husband, George North, plays internationally for Wales and for the Swansea-based Ospreys in Pro14 rugby.
