£100,000 worth of cannabis plants found in Carmarthen home
A man is due to appear in court after police found an estimated £100,000 worth of cannabis plants in a Carmarthen house.
The cannabis factory was discovered by police after they saw two men behaving suspiciously in Picton Place, Carmarthen on Monday May 4.
Dyfed Powys Police officers had been speaking to people living in the street when they saw a man jumping from one garden to the next.
The man was stopped by officers and a second man was seen running from the house.
They found nearly 100 matured cannabis plants and 40 saplings in the property.
Elson Gjikolaj, aged 27, was arrested and later charged with producing a controlled class B drug.
A second man was later arrested and released under investigation.
A third man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs after it was confirmed he lived at the property. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
