'Too early' to end social distancing rules as 15 more people die in Wales
15 more people have died from coronavirus in Wales, bringing the total to 624.
There have also been 274 new cases. There are now 8,124 who have contracted the virus. However the true number is likely to be higher.
However Public Health Wales said although evidence shows a levelling-off in the number of new cases, it is still ''too early'' to end social distancing rules.
Dr Giri Shankar said Public Health Wales ''fully supports'' the extension of lockdown measures.
He also said there are plans to increase testing capacity in the coming weeks and months. The aim was to have 5,000 tests taking place every day, however there are around 1,300 taking place currently.
The UK Government criticised the Welsh Government for scrapping its target for coronavirus tests.
On Wednesday's Welsh Government briefing, Economy Minister, Ken Skates AM, said Dominic Raab MP was "wrong" to single out Vaughan Gething AM during PMQs.
On Tuesday, Wales' Chief Medical Officer told ITV News the cases of coronavirus are "moving in the right trajectory" as people across the country adhere to the government's lockdown measures.
Dr Frank Atherton said, "In the current wave of transmission that we are in, we haven't just flattened the curve, we've completely squashed the curve.''
