Fourth arrest in Cardiff machete and shot gun attempted murder probe
A fourth person has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a 21-year-old man in Cardiff involving a machete and shot gun.
The 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the early hours of Sunday morning at an address in Llanishen.
A 27-year-old man has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and a 31-year-old man has been released under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Keiron Hassan, 32, has been charged with attempted murder and is being held in custody after an appearance at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Police were called to Harris Avenue, Rumney, on Monday April 13 after reports of a serious assault.
A man suffered seriously injuries believed to have been caused by a machete and shot gun.He was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery and has since been discharged.
Police are continuing to appeal for information about the incident and are calling for people to submit video footage online.
