Man pulled over by police during lockdown had drugs and £17,000 in cash in his car
Police carrying out vehicle checks during the coronavirus lockdown pulled over a man in an untaxed car, finding £17,000 in cash and thousands of tablets of a Class C drug inside.
Officers in Powys pulled the driver over on Wednesday 15 April near Welshpool.
The driver, 34, from Pembroke Dock, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of a Class C drug.

Police confirmed around 10,000 Pregabalin tablets - a drug used to treat epilepsy, anxiety and nerve pain - were found at the man’s home.
The man was also reported by officers for non-essential travel and for drivingwithout tax.
