A spokesperson for Network Rail said the Cambrian line between Shrewsbury and Machynlleth is now fully open and operational.

Bus replacement services remain on the north-bound route from Machynlleth to Pwllheli, and on the south-bound Machynlleth to Aberystwyth service.

This is expected to remain in place until engineers can assess tracks once Storm Dennis has passed.
