Welsh Hollywood star Luke Evans says 'singing is in our blood'
Hollywood actor and singer Luke Evans told ITV Wales that he is proud of his Welsh heritage and that "singing is in our blood."
He said he is always keen to make it clear he is a British actor and "very much a Welsh actor."
Luke has released his debut album 'At Last' and will be touring around the UK in 2020. He said it has been his "dream" to be a singer and to record an album.
He will be singing at Cardiff St. David’s Hall on 29th April 2020 and then Llandudno Venue Cymru Arena on 30th April.
Luke told ITV Wales he tries to get back to Wales as much as possible in between travel. Although it was only for two hours, he managed to come back to Wales for his cousin's 40th birthday.
He said: "we both turned 40 this year so I thought I'd make the effort."
Luke Evans, from the Valleys, started his career as a musical theatre actor in London. He shot to worldwide fame in 2009 after landing the role of Apollo in Clash of the Titans.
The Welsh actor famous for blockbusters such as Beauty and the Beast, Girl on the Train and The Hobbit.
