400 people attend tribute night for two railway workers killed by train in Port Talbot
A tribute night has been held by the families of Gareth Delbridge and Michael Lewis at Kenfig Hill RFC in Bridgend.
The two men were killed after being hit by a passenger train travelling from Swansea to London on 3 July.
A third man was treated for shock at the scene but was uninjured.
64-year-old Gareth Delbridge and 58-year-old Michael Lewis, from Bridgend, were both popular men in their communities and almost 400 tickets were sold.
The men's families have said that following their deaths they have been “absolutely overwhelmed with cards, notes, social media messages, text messages as well as written letters from all over the country.”
Over £10,000 was also raised for the Wales Air Ambulance.
