Man in hospital after being 'wounded' near Llanrwst

A man is in hospital with injuries following an incident in Conwy.

Police were called to Llanrwst Road in Maenan following reports of a man being armed with a knife.

A weapon was recovered and police said a man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding.

Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

The road was closed but has since re-opened.
