Welsh MMA fighter Mason 'The Dragon' Jones to have first headline fight this autumn
A Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from Blaenavon is bidding to join the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Mason Jones hopes to follow fellow Welshmen Jack Shore and Jack Marshman into the ranks of the UFC, MMA's most prestigious competition.
MMA has been growing in popularity but Jones said he thinks soon it is likely to be "one of the biggest sports in the world".
Mason Jones will headline his first fight-night in Cardiff this Autumn.
He will be taking on Finland's Aleksi Mantykivi at Cardiff's Viola Arena.
The 24-year-old is now unbeaten in seven fights.
Like all famous fighters, he has got a nickname. This one with a Welsh twist.
