Tributes paid to 'gentleman of the game' who died after being hit on head by cricket ball
Tributes have been made to John Williams, a cricket umpire who died after being hit on the head by a ball last month.
He has been described as "one of the nicest gentleman in the game."
Neyland Cricket Club said he was "respected by all" and sends their condolences to all of his family.
John was left in a coma after being struck while umpiring a local amateur league match.
He was flown to hospital the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff after being hit at Pembroke, West Wales, who were playing Narberth.
Pembrokeshire Cricket tweeted that Mr Williams died with his family at his bedside.
Fellow umpire Merfyn John said it was only because of a "last minute swap" that Mr Williams was umpiring the match.
