A teenage boy has suffered a severe leg injury after falling 50ft at the highest waterfall in south Wales.
Mountain rescue workers were called to the incident at Henrhyd Falls, in the Brecon Beacons, shortly after 15:00 on Friday afternoon.
Rescuers said the boy's leg injury was "very severe", and he needed to be rescued using a rope system.
Dr Alex Evans, Western Beacons Mountain Rescue team doctor, said: "Once recovered we treated the Male along with assistance from HARTS [Hazardous Area Response Team].
"The injured male was then delivered to the ambulance for transportation to hospital for further treatment."
