President Donald Trump makes 'Prince of Whales' gaffe
President Donald Trump made an unfortunate spelling error in a recent tweet about his visit to the UK.
In the tweet, which he made as he was responding to an interview in which he suggested he would be open to discussing presidential opponents with foreign powers, the President referred to Prince Charles as ''The Prince of Whales'' sparking thousands of tweets mocking the error.
Mr Trump met with the Prince of Wales last week during his state visit to the UK.
The president and the First Lady had afternoon tea at Clarence House with Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall - which was followed by a state banquet at Buckingham Palace.
The President is known for his use of social media regularly causing a stir on Twitter and making headlines.
Recently, he branded London Mayor Sadiq Khan a ''stone cold loser.''
The tweet has led to amusing reaction from other users of the social media platform.
The President appears to have deleted the original post and tweeted again with the correct spelling of Wales.
