Scandal-hit Cwm Taf Morgannwg health board appear before Assembly committee
Bosses from a scandal-hit health board will face questions from an Assembly committee later.
The Health Social Care and Sport Committee will quiz the Chair and Chief Executive of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health board following the publication of a damning report into maternity services.
It comes less than a week after an inquest found that failures by the health board caused the death of baby Jenson James Francis, just 40 minutes after he was delivered by Caesarean section.
The health board's maternity services have been placed in special measures and an independent team set up to investigate failures in care and governance.
A review is also being carried out of maternity cases back to 2010, meaning there could potentially be hundreds of families affected by shortfalls in services.
The health board has apologised unreservedly for its failures and cited staffing difficulties as a contributing factor in why care has not been to the standard it would expect.
