Welsh households issued £300 fly-tipping fine warning
People in Wales are being reminded they risk a £300 fine if their household waste is fly-tipped.
Two thirds of fly-tipping incidents in Wales contain waste from people's homes, prompting the launch of the new campaign.
The "It's Your Duty to Care" campaign aims to inform householders that they have a legal duty to ensure anybody they give their household waste to is a registered waste carrier.
In February the Welsh Government approved new regulations to make it easier for councils to take action against householders who give their waste to people not authorised to handle it.
In doing so people risk a £300 fine or even prosecution.
