Good Friday in pictures: From crowded beaches to sunbathing alpacas

People in Wales are enjoying a bumper bank holiday with temperatures reaching up to 24C near Aberystwyth - and there's more hot weather predicted over the next few days.

Those lucky enough to be off work flocked to the seaside and beer gardens around the country to enjoy the warm weather:

The Met Office said most of the UK will see clear skies and warm temperatures for the Easter weekend, with highs of up to 27C on Easter Monday.

While it said it is unlikely the country will have its hottest April or Easter, there could be record temperatures on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
