Great-grandmother, 87, dies following crash in Port Talbot

Tributes have been paid to a great-grandmother who died following a crash in Port Talbot.

87-year-old Phyllis Mahoney, from Baglan, died in hospital following the incident on 31 March.

Two men, aged 33 and 26, were arrested in connection with the incident but have since been released under investigation.

In a statement, her family said she had been "taken from us under such tragic circumstances. To say our lives have been torn apart is an understatement".

South Wales Police is investigating the crash which involved a black BMW 1 series coupe and a copper-coloured Peugeot 207.
