Community rally round Aberdare fire family
People in the community of Aberdare have rallied round to help the victims of a fire in the town centre.
Chandra Narra, who has a wife and young daughter, said his family 'lost everything' after a fire in their shop and flat on Market Street in Aberdare.
"There's nothing left for us. Nothing left in this place any more. We don't know where to go. We haven't got any close family in this place. Just see what happens. That's all I can actually say."
But the community has come together to help the family.
The Gingerbread House Day Nursery is collecting donations of clothing, furniture and toys for the family and their little girl.
Several people have pledged to help with offers ranging from clothes to a sofa.
A JustGiving fundraising page has also been set up and has already exceeded its target of £200.
South Wales Police also thanked the night manager of a nearby Tesco who provided clothes for the young girl caught in the fire.
