CCTV shows last movements of missing Swansea student Tapiwa Matuwi

CCTV showing the final known movements of missing student Tapiwa Matuwi has been released by police.

Twenty-one-year-old Tapi, as he is known, went missing in the early hours of February 7 following a night out in Swansea city centre.

Tapi, who is 6ft, with distinctive black and orange hair, is first seen entering a McDonalds on Oxford Street with a friend in the early hours of Thursday. His last known sighting is at 7:06am behind Swansea Yacht Club.

Detective Inspector Matthew Davies said police have identified a number of people captured in the footage but are hoping by releasing the CCTV, more people will come forward with information.

His father, Munyaradza Zvada, has previously pleaded with the public for more information about the whereabouts of his son.He said not knowing has left his family broken.

Tapi was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with red logo, a red jacket with Bieber written in white on the reverse, and a white hoodie underneath. He was also wearing dark blue jeans, and high-top shoes.
