Wales Weather: Warnings to start the week!

Today: An icy start, with a few showers bringing sleet and snow in places, and feeling cold in the strong winds. It will be bright through much of the day, with the odd shower in places, but the winds will ease. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

Tonight: Increasingly windy again into the evening, with gales expected. Rain will arrive during the evening, and will last through much of the night, turning heavier towards dawn. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Tuesday: A grey, wet and windy start but some sunny spells will start to break through later in the day. Further heavy rain is expected overnight, with very strong winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Very strong winds expected early on Wednesday, easing later. Then staying unsettled with a mix of sunshine and showers, and some longer spells of rain. Strong winds likely at times.
