Roads closed in Cardiff city centre after climate change protest blocks streets
A climate change protest in Cardiff city centre has caused road closures. Castle Street and Duke Street have currently been closed both ways due to the demonstration.
The road has been closed for safety reasons.
Climate change campaigners have taken to the streets of Cardiff today calling for the Welsh Government to "tell the truth about climate change".
The Extinction Rebellion group has called on the government to declare a Climate Emergency.
The Welsh Government says it recognises the 'urgency' needed to tackle the problem and says it will soon be publishing a low carbon delivery plan.
