Michael Sheen helps launch Wales' first out-of-hours helpline for the homeless

The first out-of-hours helpline providing support to homeless young people in Wales has been launched, with the backing of Hollywood star Michael Sheen.

Young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness will be able to call a free out-of-hours number to get the support they need.

A fundraising appeal which raised more than £90,000 will go towards the running of the helpline over the next year.

The appeal has been supported with donations from Nationwide Building Society and members of the public.
