Police issue warning over 'potentially lethal' ecstasy tablets
Police have issued a public warning over a "potentially lethal" batch of ecstacy tablets believed to be circulating in the Rhondda region.
The so called 'Punisher' tablets have been linked to the recent hospital admission of a 21-year-old man. He was admitted in a serious condition on 17 December and has since made a full recovery.
South Wales Police said the drug "could cost somebody their life" and that the pills have been linked to a number of incidents around the UK. People are being urged not to take the drugs if they are offered them as they contain a potentially lethal dose of MDMA.
People are being urged to contact the police if they have any information about the supply of the drug.
