Three teenagers killed in north Wales car crash named

Three teenagers who died in a car crash near Denbigh have been named.

18-year-old John Michael Jones and 17-year-old Leon Rice were both from Ruthin. 17-year-old Colin Hornsby was from Droylsden in Greater Manchester.

They were travelling together in a Vauxhall Corsa that was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Antara on Graig Road on Friday night.

There were two other passengers in the Corsa.

A 19-year-old man who was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd was discharged from hospital on Sunday, while a 16-year-old, who was taken to Liverpool is in a critical condition.

The passengers in the other car, a 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, remain in hospital with serious injuries.

In a statement, the family Colin Hornsby have paid tribute to him.
