Campaign launched to promote alternatives to smacking for parents in Wales

A new Welsh Government campaign has launched to promote positive parenting techniques in managing difficult behaviour.

The 'Parenting, Give it Time' campaign will promote the benefits using a more positive approach to tackle challenging behaviour in kids.

It comes ahead of the introduction of legislation to ban the physical punishment of children in Wales. The campaign will advise parents on alternative ways to discipline parents.
