Man dies after Penarth Marina rescue
A man has died after being rescued by Coastguards from Penarth Marina.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident. Officers were called to reports of two people in Penarth Marina shortly after 10pm on Friday 12 October.
A man and woman were brought to safety by the Penarth Coastguard and emergency services before being taken to hospital.
The 32-year old man from Penarth died shortly afterwards. The woman, 35, was later released from hospital with no injuries.
Next of kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, but officers are asking anybody with any further information to call 101.
