Good Samaritan Wales fans give homeless woman spare match ticket and hotel stay
A group of football fans from Rhymney attending Wales V Spain at the Principality Stadium last night made a heartwarming gesture to a homeless woman.
Lloyd Jones, Gareth Newell, Scott Challenger,Chris Lloyd and Michael Knight had a spare ticket and offered it to a woman called Samantha, who they came across on the way to the stadium.
They invited her to join them for food and drinks.
Lloyd said Samantha was a bit apprehensive at first, but agreed to go along. She had been living on the streets of Cardiff for few years.
After the match, the men, who all play for Rhymney FC, did not want to see her go back to sleep on the streets.
So they decided to pay for Samantha to spend the night in a hotel.
