"Renewal" promise from Eluned Morgan as she launches Welsh Labour leadership campaign
Eluned Morgan is set to formally launch her campaign to succeed Carwyn Jones as Welsh Labour leader and First Minister. The current Welsh language minister is to call on the party to "renew" itself and talk of the need for Labour to "look different, to sound different, and to be different if the party is to retain power."
A former MEP, Eluned Morgan is also expected to back a referendum on the final Brexit deal.
Both of the other candidates, Mark Drakeford and Vaughan Gething, have already launched their campaigns with the result declared on December 6th.
