25,000 take part in Cardiff Half Marathon's 15th anniversary

25,000 people have taken to the streets of Cardiff for the 15th anniversary of the Half Marathon.

Thousands more have lined up around the Welsh capital, from outside Cardiff Castle to City Hall where the race finished.

Athletes and fundraisers alike took to the 13.1 mile route.

Australian Jack Rayner crossed the line in one hour and one minute while Dewi Griffiths was the first Welshman to finish.

Uganda's Juliet Chekwell was the first woman to cross the finish line. She became the women's commonwealth champion with a time of 1:09:45.

Road closures will remain in place until the race comes to an end.
