'Devastating scenes' after large fire at Holyhead Marina
A huge fire has left "devastating scenes" at Holyhead Marina after an industrial warehouse went up in flame.
Just months after being destroyed by Storm Emma, parts of Holyhead Marina were engulfed in the blaze last night.
Witnesses reported hearing an "explosion" and plumes of smoke were visible for miles around.
Four crews were called to the scene at 9.10pm on Thursday evening. North Wales Fire warned nearby residents to keep their windows and doors shut.
The fire has now been put out and is not believed to have affected the port.
Images on social media show the aftermath of the fire at what is believed to be an industrial workshop. There are no reported injuries.
